The tiler you called is the tiler who turns up.

TJM Tiling is Tim. He quotes the job, sets it out, lays it and cleans up after it, in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

A trade where the detail is the job.

Tiling is unforgiving. A wall that is a few millimetres out, a set-out started in the wrong corner, a lippy edge on a large-format tile, and you look at it every single day. Tim's work goes the other way: joints that line through, cuts that sit tight to the frame, and a shower fall that actually runs to the drain.

Customers keep reaching for the same words. Honest. Reliable. Turned up on time. Left the work place nice and clean. One wrote that if there was a six star rating they would give it. That is the whole pitch, in their words rather than his.

What you can count on.

He turns up

Booked in means booked in. "Turned up on time" is the first thing one customer chose to mention about the job, which tells you how rare it has become.

Set out square

The tiles get planned across the room before any adhesive comes out, so the joints line through and the awkward cut lands where you will not be looking at it.

Your house, respected

Off-cuts and dust do not get left for you to deal with. The work area is cleaned down as the job goes, and properly at the end of it.

Bathrooms first, then everything else.

Most of the work that comes through TJM Tiling is bathrooms and wet areas, where the falls to the drain, the niches and the edges around the screen all have to be right before a single tile looks good. The same set-out thinking then goes into floors, feature walls, verandas and steps.

02

Set-out first

On day one the room gets measured and the tiles planned across it, so the joints line through and the cuts fall where they should.

03

Laid and cut in

Tiles go down or up, edges are cut to fit the frames, niches and drains, and everything is checked for level and lippage as it goes.

04

Grouted and cleaned

Joints grouted, silicone where it belongs, and the work area cleaned down before Tim leaves. The tiles are the only thing you should notice.

In their own words.

Tim was fantastic to work with. Honest, reliable and professional. Along with his brother, they worked to create a first class bathroom. We will definitely call on them again as the attention to detail is impressive.

Have used Tim twice now. Wouldn't hesitate to get him back again. Excellent tiler, great quality & fast. He went above & beyond with fixing a couple of issues for us (that we had created). Highly recommended.
